French Tuesdays Launches in San Francisco
Laurent-Perrier Champagne and French Tuesdays to launch Semi-Monthly Soirées à la Française

Laurent-Perrier Champagne  and French Tuesdays, the semi-monthly private socializing event that brings together French speakers and Francophiles for stimulating conversation, and hot music and dancing, will host their grand premiere event in San Francisco at Supper Club on March 27 from 7 pm to 1 am.

The four-year-old French Tuesdays phenomenon was created by Gilles Amsallem and Pierre Battu as a way for Francophile New Yorkers to exchange ideas and experience European culture with native French speakers living in the city. With the support of Laurent-Perrier Champagne, French Tuesdays has since spread to Miami, Los Angeles, and now, San Francisco.

Laurent-Perrier Champagne is the exclusive Champagne found at every French Tuesdays event nationwide. Glasses and bottles of Brut L-P, the brand’s signature Champagne, and Grand Siècle, its prestige cuvée, are offered to guests at specially-reduced prices. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and caviar are also available at each event.

“French Tuesdays is about meeting people in a relaxed atmosphere to socialize à la française,” says west coast-based co-founder Amsallem. The first French Tuesdays event was held in March 2003 with 50 guests at Ava Lounge in New York, and today French Tuesdays boasts over 10,000 members nationwide.
