Delicate lemon-yellow hue with a persistent bead. Pretty scents of brioche, lemon and white grapefruit. Soft, creamy mouth-feel with flavors of vanilla cake, caramel and sweet/sour citrus. Tart, zesty close offers pleasing additions of spice and backing minerality.

Almost dry, with the freshest of apple and grapefruit characters, a lively layer of mineral and lime, and a final delicate character. This is a crisply delicious, apéritif style of Champagne.

A fine bead in the glass, it shows a bit more warm, round fruit than in previous bottlings, leading into a slightly bitter finish of citrus rind, zest and wet stone.

Pale gold color. Bright, incisive aromas of lemon peel, green apple, mint and minerals. Fresh and clean on the palate, with moderate weight but very good intensity of flavor. Apple, crisp pear and Meyer lemon flavors suggest plenty of chardonnay in the blend as well as a low dosage. Clean and vibrant on the long bracing finish.

Intense, even veering toward earthiness, yet there’s also concentrated notes of vanilla pastry and berries. It’s complex and appeals more to the intellect, with a sense of power and a lingering aftertaste. Try with food. Drink now.
